Guinea Pig Sanctuary Serving Nottinghamshire & Yorkshire

Collage of adorable guinea pigs in a rescue enclosure with a welcoming message.

🐹 Little Souls Guinea Sanctuary| Little Souls Animal Rescue & Sanctuary

💚 Welcome to the Guinea Pig Sanctuary at Little Souls Rescue & Sanctuary, serving Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire UK.

Our Guinea Pig Sanctuary is one part of the wider work we do at Little Souls Rescue & Sanctuary. Alongside rescuing and supporting other animals in need, we provide lifelong sanctuary care for guinea pigs who require safety, stability, and a permanent home. 🐹💚

All guinea pigs in our care remain with us for life as sanctuary residents. We are not a rehoming or adoption rescue for guinea pigs. Instead, we provide ongoing daily care, enrichment, and a safe and stable environment where their welfare always comes first.

✨ Every guinea pig deserves to feel safe, loved, and protected for life.

🐹 Guinea Pig Sanctuary – Important Update

Our waiting list for boar (male guinea pig) rescue spaces is now CLOSED.

We are currently at full capacity for boars and are unable to accept any additional male guinea pigs at this time. Our waiting list is closed while we focus on the animals already in our care.

Thank you for your patience and understanding 💚

Our male guinea pigs live in their own stable social herds, each with their own dedicated enclosures, where they are safely managed and well cared for.

🏡 Our Guinea Pig Enclosures

🏡 Our Guinea Pig Enclosures
Our female guinea pig enclosure alone measures over 30ft by 20ft, giving them plenty of space to run, explore, play, and socialise safely.
The enclosure is fully equipped with heating, air conditioning, and both indoor and outdoor areas, ensuring our guinea pigs are comfortable and cared for all year round.

🐹 Male Guinea Pig Enclosures
Our male guinea pigs also have their own dedicated enclosures, designed specifically for their needs and social groups.
Each male herd is carefully managed in stable, safe environments where they can live comfortably, with enrichment, space, and appropriate companionship.
All enclosures are designed to ensure welfare, safety, and long-term stability for every guinea pig in our care. 💚

Their 20 teeth never stop growing — hay is essential for keeping them healthy.
They communicate through squeaks, purrs, and chirps — each sound has its own meaning!
