Welcome to Little Souls Rescue & Sanctuary, a rescue and sanctuary offering safety, care, and compassion to animals in need across Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Northamptonshire, and beyond.
We are a small registered non-profit CIO dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats and kittens. Alongside this, we provide a safe sanctuary for guinea pigs, rabbits, and other small animals, and work to help and rescue stray, unwanted, and free-roaming cats and kittens.
At Little Souls Rescue & Sanctuary, every life matters and every story deserves a second chance.
Our mission is simple — to provide care, protection, and a fresh start for animals who need it most. 🐾💛
We run a dedicated guinea pig and rabbit sanctuary, offering lifelong care to animals who cannot be rehomed, as well as temporary care for those waiting for the right homes.
We do not operate a traditional on-site cattery. Instead, our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes by our experienced volunteer foster carers, allowing them to settle into a calm home environment while they wait for their forever families.
We are a fully volunteer-run rescue and sanctuary, with no paid staff. This means 100% of every donation goes directly towards animal care.

We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals who have been abandoned, neglected, abused, or left behind — while providing lifelong sanctuary to those who cannot be rehomed.
Our mission is to care for animals in need, offering rehabilitation and rehoming where possible, and lifelong sanctuary for those requiring ongoing care.
Alongside our cat rescue and rehoming work, we run a dedicated Guinea Pig Sanctuary for rescued guinea pigs and a Rabbit Sanctuary for rescued rabbits.
We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals, including guinea pigs, rabbits, stray and unwanted cats and kittens, as well as animals with special needs and free-roaming cats, providing specialist care across our core areas:

Why We Do What We Do — And Why We First Started the Rescue and Sanctuary
We simply couldn’t stand by and watch the most vulnerable little souls in the world suffer.
We knew we had to step in, help them, and do everything we could to stop their suffering.
What began as helping just a few desperate souls soon grew into Little Souls Rescue & Sanctuary — a place built on compassion, dedication, and hope.
Every enclosure, every rescue mission, and every life saved has been built from the heart and self-funded with love and determination.
