Little Souls Rescue & Sanctuary is Samll independent, CIO volunteer-run animal rescue and sanctuary supporting stray cats and kittens, rabbits and guinea pigs across Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Northamptonshire and surrounding areas in the UK.
We specialise in stray cat and kitten rescue, foster-based care and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), helping animals who need a second chance and working to reduce the number of unwanted and unowned cats.
We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens, while also providing a safe and loving sanctuary for guinea pigs and rabbits who need us.
We do not operate a traditional on-site cattery. Instead, our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes by experienced volunteer foster carers, giving them a calm and stable home environment while they wait for their forever families.

Every year, animals are involved in road traffic accidents, often leaving them frightened, injured and in need of urgent help.
10 October is World Animal Road Accident Awareness Day — a day to remember those animals affected by road accidents and to raise awareness of how we can help keep them safe.

At Little Souls Rescue & Sanctuary, we provide a safe, caring and enriched environment for guinea pigs who need a second chance.
Our aim is to give every guinea pig the space, companionship, care and security they deserve, allowing them to enjoy life in a safe and nurturing environment.
Spacious, Enriched Living
Our female guinea pigs have access to a huge 20ft × 30ft enclosure, providing plenty of room throughout the year to run, explore, forage, play and simply enjoy being guinea pigs.
Their enclosure is filled with tunnels, hides and enrichment, giving them opportunities to explore and retreat when they want some quiet time.
Our male guinea pigs have their own safe, spacious enclosures, carefully arranged to help reduce stress and provide a calm, comfortable environment.
Every guinea pig is treated as an individual, with their own needs, personality and history taken into consideration.
At Little Souls, these little souls are not simply rescued — they are loved, protected and given the time and care they need to feel safe again.

At Little Souls Rescue & Sanctuary, our rescued rabbits are given a safe, secure and enriching environment where they can simply be rabbits.
We believe rescued rabbits deserve more than just a place to live. They deserve space, enrichment, comfort, security and the freedom to express their natural behaviours.
A Home Designed for Rabbits
Our rescued rabbits enjoy access to a specially built warren, created to give them the opportunity to dig, explore, stretch, relax and snooze in a safe and peaceful environment.
The warren provides space for natural behaviours and allows our rabbits to enjoy their surroundings at their own pace.
Every rabbit who comes into our care is treated as an individual. We take the time to understand their personality, needs and history, providing the appropriate care and attention they need to thrive.
From the moment they arrive, our goal is to give them something they may have been missing — a safe place to call home.
At Little Souls, every rabbit is loved for who they are. They are safe, cherished and given the chance to enjoy the happy and secure life they deserve.
